We don't care who takes this crazy North Korean leader out as long as he stops threatening an attack on the USA...

We don't really need or want to take over North Korea....let the Chinese have that land or Russia....so they have a buffer to the west ...

What do we care who is in charge over there...as long as they are not going to attack us or threaten to attack us...

I think that would be a smart move by Russia and china to split up North Korea...

The people who live in North Korea would be better off as well...

I don't think either Russia or China want a direct border with South Korea, which is by proxy a direct border with the United States. They both like having their little madman in a box to keep us all apart.

I support his actions but he really needs to hand over the social media accounts. He is a good leader with good plans and terrible internet skills.

Throw useless blood to the moronic sharks to feed on, while you move on to something else as they are distracted with minutia. Even if President Trump made a mistake regarding ancient history, he's still far more intelligent than the most corrupt, incompetent, cowardly, anti-American he thankfully replaced. And nothing is ever going to change that fact.

But here's a really dumb question: why would China want to take over NK and solve our problems for us? It doesn't make much sense.

And another dumb question..."if" kim fat-****-un has the capability to launch a nuclear attack on the U.S., if the Chinese and/or Russia were to attack him, would he not take his shot at the U.S. anyway? it's not like it would not be obvious that they were doing so to permanently diffuse the games he's been playing with us.

The only scenario that makes sense is that China and Russia are securing their borders because they don't want to house refugees, and perhaps as a deterrent to the U.S. from taking the military option.

In other words - if China moves to fix (absorb) NK, he's signaling that's fine.
We both agree (post 12):

China sent troops to NK's border. Why? China doesn't need the terrirtory, but it does need trade with the USA under Pres. Trump. China may be communist, but they're now also pragmatists and entirely entangled with US trade.

Which relationship is more important/valuable to China, NK or US trade?

This!

China will not let NK fall into US hands (nor anyone else's for that matter).

Simple question, Canuck.

WAS TRUMP RIGHT?

You attack Donald Trump for saying something correct. You get schooled on your ignorance. Somehow, in your mind, I'M the "blind disciple." You're the short bus rider that posted this fake news without knowing YOURSELF that Korea has very much been part of China in the past. You post bullshit. You get called on posting bullshit. The people who called you out are the ignorant ones. Does that sound like a rational thought process?

You're still unable to accept that Donald Trump is smarter than you. You're still unable to accept that he's not a step ahead of you, he's leaps and ******* bounds ahead of you. Return to your pleb ignorance. The intelligent crowd have no use for you.

This is a part of the world with documented history going back thousands and thousands of years. Trump said that Korea was once a part of China.

Was he correct?

The Korean Peninsula was a vassal state of the Mongolian empire 800 years ago

Korea was a vassal state, not part of
The Mongolian empire which was largely in occupied China

Being a vassal state MAKES THEM A PART OF CHINA, ducking funce!

Definition of vassal state

: a state with varying degrees of independence in its internal affairs but dominated by another state in its foreign affairs and potentially wholly subject to the dominating state

Which makes them A PART OF CHINA. You just admitted that I'm correct. You're my age. You'll know what this means, none of the old fuddy duddys here will-

LOL!!! You can't both be part of China and a separate state. If you are a separate state, by definition, you are not part of the Chinese state

Of course you totally ignore the fact it read also not the Chinese but the Mongolians who subjected them to vassal status.

So based on your argument, Korea was part of the Mongolian empire for about 100 years.

So we have both China and Korea where in some fashion controlled by Mongolians 800 years ago.

That is not what Trump said
