Default Earth just experienced one of the warmest years on record

https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/06/world/2018-global-temp-hottest-year-noaa-nasa/index.html

CNN)Last year was the fourth-hottest year ever recorded, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and NASA, which means that the past five years have been the five warmest years in the modern record.

Some of you please shut up!

It's was the 4th hottest year!

Where is the independently verifiable Scientific Method proof of causation that some factor is responsible for the warming, along with the magnitude of that factor's effect as verified by observed history?

(hint: there is no validated Scientific Method answering those questions)

It was the wettest year here, not nearly the hottest.

Earth:

~400 ppm = CO2 today

~6000-7500 ppm = CO2 600 million years ago

~80000 ppm = CO2 in the first atmosphere

Mars:

~900000 ppm = CO2 on Mars

The Younger Dryas rate of change more than several millennia ago several times higher than anything today. Why?

Ahhh, The Climate Change Clergy has emerged with unsolicited, personal witnessing the evils of Climate Change.

Do they have a hymnal book yet?

johnglenntwo, given CO2 was much higher, 15 times, 200 times higher, would you reason global temperatures millions of years ago was also several times higher than today?

Let me go start my car to warm it up. While that is happening I'll look to see how much money the MMGW zealots demand that somehow will stop warming (though I want as much warming as possible).

If OP, johnglenntwo, is tying global temperature rise to CO2, then given 400 ppm is 15 to 200 times lower than the broad history of the Earth’s atmospheres, then shouldn’t our temperatures be much much lower tan before?

It doesn't mean that at all.

What it means is that there have been 3 other past years that were warmer than last year. And that means last year has NOT been the warmest ever

So yea, shut the **** up

I'm in my 70's. The weather now doesn't seem any different than it was when I was a child.

Can you please explain to me exactly how temperatures were recorded in 1919?

I don't give a damn. It's going to be hot or cold whenever it wants to.
