While i like that news, the only polls I trust are exit polls. Now, if libs are losing their **** over this, I'm more inclined to trust it.

Unless one is a deluded CF_PR&C liberal one knows that the actual Trump approval ratings are about %30 higher.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trumpís job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 38% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -3. (see trends).

Pretty simple logic. More people should try it. Instead we have a **** load of mindless zombies regurgitating what they believe to be fact based on their one "trusted" source.

Rasumussen is known for its repeated inaccuracies according to the poll rankings and third party sources. Rasmussen only robo calls landlines as their standard OP. How many people (not businesses) do you know under the age of 50 that have a land line in this day and age? Half of Americans do not have landlines. Which means half of Americans are being left off the Rasmussen polls. Yeah Rasmussen got the 2016 election correct.... but we all know the light is gonna shine on a dogs *** sooner or later.

Then if you are questioning the 800k plus government workers that weren't paid due to the Trump initiated and proudly owned shut down...you are either ignorant, deaf, blind, or wilfully dilusional. Better yet...just ask a friend under government employee.

If you're questioning my facts om my tax situation that's just silly. Wait until more of you file. If you make mid to high six figures, live in a large home with large property in a coastal state, and don't have kids... you will find out soon enough. Now we all get to pay for the slack not being picked up by others. The threads will start on this forum within the next week or two, you'll see.
The government workers were paid, they were furloughed, huge difference. All of my gov working buddies were just fine with it, living near a base I know many.

Ummm I don't think you know what furlough means. To go on furlough is to take a leave of absence without pay.

You are also only referencing the percentage of goverment employees that are DOD that were out on furlough. Not the hundreds of thousand of IRS and DHS etc that were not offered furlough but were all expected to work without pay. I'm also willing to bet seeing that you referenced living by a base (Fort Dix perhaps?) you are referring to military personnel that in most cases are young men and women that live on base and don't have mortgages on homes. None the less they are DOD and were not impacted by the non payments. Yeah...I wouldn't mind time off in their case either.

I also know many of them particularly on the DHS side...and they were working and not getting paid.

I'm a little too old to know the younger generation soldiers, I mainly know older guys/gals that worked through it unpaid and were later paid in full. Could just be the people I happen to know, I will have to ask them. Regardless though, the general consensus on the base according to them was that Trump was doing what was necessary. Don't shoot the messenger.

Some clever entrepreneur should market Suicide Kits for these smug libtards, especially near Nov 2020.

Could be something as simple as a Tide pod and a couple of pieces of fine parchment paper in case they want to write a manifesto/one last Anti-Trump rant. Well.....I guess toilet paper would be great for that!

Clueless people. This is a tough one. I think 18 is too young to vote. If we can't trust you to have a beer how can we trust you to choose an elected representative or a president? I like 21 or 25. If the voting age was 25 I think a lot of the cluelessness would be solved. And on rare occasions I've thought about requiring a basic test to demonstrate enough knowledge/understanding of X, Y, and Z to vote but the courts would dispose of that idea in a nanosecond.

Not good with dead people.

No on death row inmates.

No on multiple votes.

I'm not a democrat.

Lets tally this up for you: you went 0-7 (ouch!). However, to be fair I'm not sure what the zombie reference means so pending an explanation you might be 1-6 which is still a rough way to start your Saturday.

I think it has something to do with the underatanding of tax revenues and pre-planning personal taxes.

Let's be real, the reason the thread was started was the poke fun at the mainstream media polling which is typically skewed negatively against Trump.

Trump was never going to ne president according to the polls. Until he won.

That is still laugh out funny toward "you guys"

No shots fired, Doug. The muddy information being cascaded down to the general public is loaded with misinformation. That's why it's best for people to review multiple sources and somewhere in the middle exists the truth. The DOD employees i.e. military employees were not furloughed without pay. However ten or so other goverment agencies were...or they were expected to work without pay.

My friends and colleagues that were impacted are also taking the high road on their comments and stance pertaining to what is taking place. They all state "walls help...but the issue at hand is much more significant than the capabilities of any wall." They do what they have to do, which includes working without pay. Sure they will get paid at some point...but imagine if your customers took the same approach with you.

Have they received their back pay from the last shutdown?

When the mainstream media is involved such as CNN MSNBC NBC, Etc, the truth is usually 180į the opposite of what they are opining about. It's not news- they are the democratic talking point media.

Furloughed workers ARE paid. Some were required to still appear for work. All were paid after the shutdown was over whether or not work was still mandated
