I was getting intermittent errors on the V10, new vacuum lines fixed that. The Diesel is still down, with several circuits (mirrors, lights, fan, wouldn't start + more) out completely. Now it needs 2 fuel sensors, possibly a turbo - thinking it needs a wire harness. You would think this one is a fringe odd failure, but it's more common to the 20xx years. What might fix it is the speedometer cluster being replaced. Go figure.

Buy a GM - GMC or Chevrolet. You can get the same hp rating in all 50 states with the addition of a supercharger kit on the most current motors (all 20xx).

And who in their right mind buys a 2WD regular cab short bed?
Anyway your number is wrong - From Fords web-site:
Cab style - Regular Cab
Pickup box style - 5.5-ft. Styleside
Base Curb Weight - 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 4,529 lbs.
Base Curb Weight - 2.7L EcoBoost®V6 4,602 lbs
Base Curb Weight - 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 4,606 lbs.
Base Curb Weight - 3.5L EcoBoost®V6 4,655 lbs.
Base Curb Weight - 3.0L Power Stroke® V6 5,091 lbs.

Compared to a 2019 Corvette:
CURB WEIGHT 3,298 lbs

Not to mention the difference in center of gravity and the list goes on and on why a truck will never be a sports car no matter how much horsepower it has.
I've always been a sports car guy and no truck will ever scratch that itch.

I'm guessing it won't be covered under the factor warranty.

I got my number fro Ford's web site, you're quoting super crew numbers, not regular cab numbers.

But they don't make a short bed either. That is with a 6.5 foot bed. Still heavy and will never handle like a sports car no matter what you do to it. Even if you lower it the center of gravity will still be higher than a true sports car. Show me the Nuerburgring ring times to impress......

My '71 Convertible Corvette with a bunch of weight saving mods only weighs 2993 according to our local dump's scale for comparison.

I'm all for drag racing but I like the twisties too so a truck just won't do it for me no matter how much horse power it has.
