Default two-door, two-seat with over 700 hp for under $40,000

Itís not from the factory, but Ohioís Lebanon Ford is now offering an F-150 with a Whipple supercharger kit that cranks up the Coyote 5.0-liter V8 to 725 hp. The dealer has become known for delivering similarly-priced power upgrades for Ford Mustangs in recent years, and has now turned that expertise toward trucks.

2020 FORD F-SERIES SUPER DUTY DEBUTS 7.3-LITER 'GODZILLA' V8

For $39,995 it will sell you a 2WD regular cab XL Sport, which costs $33,825 with its stock 395 hp motor, but the option is available for any 5.0-liter F-150. Keep in mind that it just includes the engine work, so if youíre looking for the wheels, tires and suspension to make the most out of it, itíll cost extra.

The work comes with a 3 year/36,000-mile warranty and is 50-state legal, but if you donít live in California, and are picky about your superchargers, Lebanon also offers Roush and Procharger kits for the same price, but with just 650 hp each.

It also sells stock F-150 Raptors with their 450 hp twin-turbo V6 and dune-jumping suspensions, but if you prefer the drag strip to the desert the supercharged trucks may be the way to go.
Need it to be a 2 seat convertible car. RIP China Motors.

How's the trans hold up to such a massive power boost?

On this dealers website the three non Commyfornia compliant trucks come with 650HP, yet the carb compliant comes with 725HP.

I'm struggling with the math. Why are all three of the non smog choked trucks producing 75 less horsepower and why are they bothering to sell them? Who would not want the higher horsepower for the same price?

Read the article. Upgraded options, suspension, etc... cost extra. Seems like a disaster waiting to happen if you don't want to pay for the other stuff to match the power plant.

Not sure how this dealership can deliver at the prices they advertise, I would consider their offering of this:

Our motto of “Pick Your Power” continues and Lebanon Ford Performance is proud to partner with Whipple Superchargers for our newest tire shredding, supercar killing Mustang; the LFP 800HP Mustang for the starting price of $39,995*, for a limited time. This is not a misprint. You are getting a brand new 2019 Mustang GT with a Whipple Stage 1 supercharger putting out an astonishing 800HP for $39,995* as part of the pre-order customers at LFP. The best part, we can do it all with $0 down, pending credit approval. Recent tests done by Whipple on a 2018 Mustang GT with the new 10-Speed automatic netted an estimated 775 Crank HP. Thanks to several months of close collaboration, LFP and Whipple have developed a kit totally unique to Lebanon Ford, upping the HP number to 800+ at the crank. 800 is just the beginning… expect more HP as we see what this kit is truly capable of.

If you choose a vehicle in stock (i.e stock number 180123) your car will be ready in as little as 4-6 weeks after your Whipple unit arrives at LFP. Custom ordered cars (Ie. Vehicles requested to be built through Ford) will be ready in around 12-16 weeks (after the Wipple superchargers arrive) and can be shipped to your driveway, anywhere in the continental United States.

It's still a pickup truck. Ya, it might take some on a stoplight jaunt but put that 6000 lb whale in the twisties and it will end up in a ditch. If you want a sports car buy a sports car.

I read the article, thank you. That's why I raised the question. That stock unit can't hold up very long to an extra 300+ horsepower.

Try driving a truck on snow and ice. That’s what this would be like. Don’t want.

Might be good competition for a hellcat. The whole thing reminds me of some young kids bolting on a blower and forgetting to do everything else it takes to build a reliable hot rod. Most off all itís still a truck and still a ford.

Drop it down and put some good tires and wheels on it. Might surprise some folks.
