You are a leftist, what the hell do you know about Trump...oh yea, nothing but Russia, Russia, Russia and Stormy, Stormy, Stormy....

It is the presidents duty to protect this nation, that is what you leftist hate, he is trying to do his job while your elected scum bags are trying to build a voter base with illegals.

Real obvious who is embracing willful ignorance here, people like you think the leftist agenda is more important than upholding the laws of this nation or protecting your fellow countrymen.

"6 RHINOS oppose securing borders"

Your headline is in itself a lie.

No one opposes security borders. Not even the most liberal dems. The argument, battle, is whether the best way to do that is by BUILDING AN EXPENSIVE WALL or by extension of current methods of securing the border, fences, sensors, ICE agents, and SOME bits of wall.

Dems are rubbing Trump's nose in a campaign promise he can't fulfill ("I'll make Mexico pay for a wall!) and Trump is desperately trying to save face.

The whole thing has little to do with border security.

Unfortunately both sides have pulled out all the stops.

The illegals pouring into this country don't give a damn about politics, but they do demonstrate our border needs some serious and immediate work. I don't give a rats *** about political pandering when it comes to the best interest of this nation and its citizens, these *** hats in Washington need to get their heads out of their collective asses and understanding their job is to work in the best interest of the citizen who they were elected to serve. Their little petty hate spats are not an excuse to ignore the oath they all took, to defend our Constitution and uphold our laws.

What all the career hacks are demonstrating, is they have no business being in Washington any longer because they are totally out of touch with the American people.

Build the damn wall.

Forgetting for a moment the merits of border wall funding and if it is indeed a crisis, what is more dangerous is the precedent the president's actions set. What happens when a dem president decides that the Second Amendment should be interpreted a bit differently in a way that compromises all gun owners?

Mike Lee and Rand Paul are not RINOS, pick any site that ranks members of Congress based on their voting records. Two of the most conservative voting Senators in the country.

And you are wrong again all all counts - nothing new there... but specifically:

(1) I am only a leftist in that everyone who disagrees with you must be, in your view
(2) The President's tweets tell us all we need to know about the President
(3) I have zero posts on Russia or Stormy
(4) I'ts the president's duty to defend the Constitution above all else
(5) the 'elected scum bags' under discussion are GOP

If you're young enough you might see some type of civil unrest, but I doubt most of us in our 70's will see it. When the left finally goes all in and tries to seize the guns, that will be the match that lights the fuse.

It is called a 2/3 majority to override a veto.

Don't worry, if the wack jobs get too far into the weeds with anything, the override can occur.

In the case of border funding, the country deserves to be protected, right?
