Give babies the right to vote and go on welfare and the Left will be scrambling to stop abortions.

Yeah let's tie up our tax dollars on abortion, don't bother with the West Coast filling up with feces and used needles in the streets.. all the tent villages going up there and across the country so homeless, drug users and undocumented Americans have a place to go as they pour in..country going broke fast, but yes let's rehash abortion issues yes lets..

Know several people from Alabama. They said they realized in HS that they had to do everything to GTFO.

The biggest problem we had developing the saturn V engines back in the sixties was how to get the double wide into space. Finally we just went with the lunar module. And everyone knows the patriot missiles at Redstone are simply bundled bottle rockets from China. That Abrams tank engine from Anniston is really just a great big rubber band. And, well don't won't to give away all the secrets.

BTW, I can't imagine why you didn't enjoy our beautiful state. I am sure that folks around here would stumble all over themselves trying to get to you to wrap their arms around your sunny disposition.

I love living in Mobile. Moving here was quite a step up from northern California and... (shudder)... Houston.

I think rape victims should have a lot of latitude of dumping the fetus. Incest may not be such an easy call. A good high school friend of mine's sister was impregnated by her father. This was in the early 1960's and an abortion was not an option. She had a healthy normal intelligent son. The son is a really nice person, he and his mother are quite close. The son recently retired from the Air Force. ..........I know, I know children of incest are often mentally retarded, but not always.

Repeating.
The point being to get the Supreme Court to revisit Roe vs Wade. That's the reason for such a harsh law. It has to be challenged in lower courts to get there.
That sound you hear is Democrats head's exploding.

A local columnist here is not afraid to way in on some controversial topics......even if it's not a popular view.

Roy Exum
Ever since Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed into law the most nauseating abortion legislation in the history of the United States on Wednesday, I have tried to find a worse decision by the lawmakers in any state to equal such absurdity and I most certainly cannot. While I am confident those in the State house would have voted differently had each been asked, “What if it was your little girl?” I can predict with equal certainty that “common sense” is already on the way. So is the next election.

Personally, I agree with most of what he has to say.
