You can’t create a measurable goal for Mexico to achieve to stop the tariffs, without determining how it’s being measured and where they need to get it to for them to succeed. Otherwise it’s just an open-ended BS policy for Trump to punish them until he feels like stopping.

Just go vote for Hillary. Republicans like you are worse than progressives.

You can usually determine somebody's IQ by how badly they want to spend other people's money.

One minute you libs claim that Trump's threats on shutting down the ports has increased the illegal crossings and it's all his fault. On the other hand you claim a threat of a tariff in relationship to illegal crossings cannot be measured.

No....it is republicans like you who do the damage.....it isn't enough to just elect a republican....we have to hold them to their values all the time. You Know values like supporting the free market...Less taxes (tariffs) supporting business....and the biggest of all less spending....especially spending our kids money.....you know deficit spending. Remember when democrats were tax and spend democrats.....are borrow and spend republicans better or worse???

Also China is now targeting companies in retaliation to higher tariffs and sanctions against Chinese companies.

The very stable genius is going to kill the one thing that was going to get him reelected. The economy.
So, whats the problem? president Trump made the market what it is today. The pressure he exerts will be pressure that goes directly to the Messican Government. You know businesses who are in Messico ARE putting the screws to the Mexican government as we speak. President Trump is a money man and he's using money as a tool.

You're damn lucky I'm not President. I'd have the Border on 100% lockdown and 100% inspection of every item going both ways. I have it down to a crawl.
