ďAt the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border,Ē he tweeted.
Ummmmmm..... what is the point of trying to legislate a solution to a lack of enforcement of the existing law ? Enforce the existing law to the letter, and there would be no illegal alien explosion in the first place. And the federal government could raise a ton of extra revenue fining those who have been employing illegals, at least those who didn't bother to do any due diligence. Those who were given convincing fake ID's are a different situation.

But as far as it is right now, it would seem that deporting those with deportation orders would be a given. And deporting masses of those with no record other than being here illegally would apply some pressure on congress to come up with some legislation to address the border crisis.

Each time Trump has talked about getting tough with illegals, when the time comes he drops his purse.

Granted he has zero help in DC from anyone, but why bother to talk about if you aren't going to man up and start massive deportations until every last illegal is shipped out.

He has zero help because no one is serious about this issue, at this point I don't even believe he's serious about it.
Close the border and start the process

You also have to have measures in place to keep them from scurrying back in.

A. Are Democrats pulling a North Korea Stall on Trump?

B. Are Democrats giving Illegals 2 weeks to hide?

C. Is Trump giving the criminal portion of Illegals a chance to Self-Deport?

D. Is Trump giving the DNC enough rope to hang themselves as he did with the Dreamer Deal that they turned down?

The man is a genius. He moves all the pieces forward, gets everyone in a big gasp, then makes a decision that makes him look very presidential, strong, caring, and willing to work with everyone giving the other side nothing to hit him with but lies.

Deadlines mean nothing to the government when they have to meet them. Nothing gets done on time. Two weeks will come and go and the famous phrase used far too often will apply.....nothing will happen.

Or perhaps the operation was comprimised by seditious elements within say, DHS...

Or maybe the Dems bargained, Trump bargained, and Trump gave them two weeks to prove they're being disingenuous... like you.

Maybe... However it seems like Trump listened to Pelosi, not the other way around. I'm guessing he doesn't want to look like a doofus again.

Does it seem that way to you? Funny, doesn't seem that way to me. I'm guessing you're a doofus.

Anyway... off to... whatever...

He's maneuvering himself into a position where he's the reasonable one. When the Dems inevitably drag their heels and do nothing he can hold up his hands and say "Hey, I gave them every opportunity to work together!" Yes, it's politics and yes, it's smart.

Help me out here: Did Tom Homan make his statement to Fox News BEFORE or AFTER President Trump announced the two week delay?

SOMEBODY knows SOMETHING......but they ain't saying.

Well...except for the Rats who announced in which cities the raids would be taking place

I'd rather he just started the deportations. My concern is that the Dems will cause a furor about tearing families apart and use that against him in the election. Remember his backing off when that last occurred.

Why do you suppose, that you shield your anger that Trump is your president, behind sarcasm and/or making **** up?

Does it help you cope with being triggered every friggin day?

Pelosi seems to have a severe case of dementia at this point. I highly doubt she is giving her servants any marching orders, much less Trump.

The house dems will likely include a poison pill in any legislation that they will put forth in the next two weeks. This will make the repubs vote no and then they're off to the races claiming the repubs don't want deportations either. It's politics at it worst. Things need to get done, not a bunch of game playing.
