They're already doing that, so they'd make no difference when calculating the net effect of payments coming from taxes instead of through insurers (or hospitals writing off people without insurance). Unless you're suggesting that it'll be harder to control who gets care when there's one payer setting the rules and not thousands?

I know exactly what fallacies are and what a straw man fallacy is.

You said my argument was for illegals to get it - didn't state that. You also indicated my argument was that "government expenditures wouldn't increase" which is also a straw man since I never stated anything remotely like that.

The part where the government doesn't run it, but simply becomes the payer. Does government run healthcare that's provided by Medicare now? No, they simply pay private hospitals and docs.

can you grasp that 700K figure i noted aren't in the system yet? they haven't payed a nickel. how is our tax base going to afford the additional strain from those not contributing a nickel. you tell everyone now how the US is going to pay for all the non contributors whom don't have any skin in the game. don't even go there by saying the 50% of us who do pay taxes will foot the bill at our own expense.

JHC you're economically challenged beyond belief

.gov run HC will only decrease the quality of care. you can't see the forest through the trees where this has been documented with anything .gov controlled. who twisted your mind to think .gov is the savior for all
