Sheriff Judd's neck of the woods. Not a smart move.

Unfortunately the armed car thieves are not at room temperature.

Isn't carjacking when they take your car while you are in it?

Otherwise its grand theft, auto.

An attempted carjacking is when they try to force you out of the car so they can steal it using your keys. Thatís what happened here, but they got scared and ranaway 10 seconds into the attempt.

An hour from my house and where the Regional NCRS meet is held each year....and I've parked my C2 in front of the Ben's Paint store in Kissimmee more than once...

Pretty scary...

All I saw was a single frame and could not see if anyone was in the car.

Didn't one of our members get car jacked, but the thugs fled when they realized it was a stick?

When I was living in Clermont (about 30 miles from Lakeland) I always carried. With Fla.'s CWC laws, I'm surprised those thugs haven't been put to rest.

Possibly they confused it with a Tesla, and were trying to rescue the driver before the car caught on fire, endangering his well-being. Is a good citizenship medal in order here?

"Sure, let me start it for you" (while turning off active handling and traction control).
They wouldn't get 2 blocks away in a Z06 before ending in the hospital

I believe I remember seeing that once too. Scary ****. All the more reason to stay armed, and keep a round chambered. Don't dick around with having to chamber one when you need it.

Yep. That would be me, in Orlando. As bad as the whole carjacking at gunpoint was....the number f times I heard, "You must be the only Corvette owner in Florida without his Concealed Carry...." runs a close second. That problem was quickly corrected.

...two black males approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds...

I predict 15 or under with toy AKs when all is said and done. (Or dark skinned hispanics)
