Could this kind of "exposure" be the real reason the libbie scum are suddenly pushing to make pedos "normal", as they have done with all the other weirdos...

IMO, you're not going to know Epstein and not be involved in some of the S he's involved with, birds of a feather..

The end game may be Trump but I have to wonder why anyone has any type of acquaintance with Epstein knowing what he's about if you don't also share that interest.
This is either going to to catch a lot of high level people or no one because of who's involved
You thinking Epstein (D) handed out business cards that had pedophile on them?

the ignorance of people as to to what’s going on now is shocking....

I do too. I bet he ends up dead before he gets a chance to sing.

Text from a friend, "Just heard on Beck that someone is saying Acosta was told Epstein was connected to intelligence and to leave it alone. Wow!"
I know lots of people take Beck with a big grain of salt, but, hey.....thought I'd pass it along.....

Can't say it hasn't occurred to me. They say nothing happens in politics by accident. Sounds reasonable.

Joy Behar says Alex Acosta can now defend R. Kelly: 'He has the skill set'

"The View" host Joy Behar tore into Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta on Friday's episode, joking that his retirement would allow him to move onto to defending another alleged sex offender.

"He's kind of free to defend R.Kelly now, isn't he?" Behar asked, referring to the singer arrested Thursday on child pornography and other charges. "He has the skill set."

Co-host Meghan McCain seemed slightly disturbed, remarking, "Oh God..." When Behar asked McCain if she was too rough, McCain didn't respond.

I'm not defending anyone's actions here, there's too much that we don't know yet. However, I seriously think the most likely scenario is that Acosta, being a relatively powerless government attorney at the time, was probably pressured, threatened, or coerced into making this go away. There's really no other explanation for a case that's a slam dunk to result in a slap on the wrist.

Not sure whether it was a carrot, stick, or worse, but I can't get too mad at a person who...in a system that's obviously so corrupt that whistle blowing is ineffective, and doing the right thing is apt to lead to any number of unpleasant outcomes...would take the easy path out of a sense of self-preservation.

And I still say that if I'm right, Acosta has potential to not only redeem himself, but even be a hero if he plays this right. Him winding up a "suicide" 10 years ago would have been of no use. Him bringing down the DC and Hollywood establishment today would be acceptable to me.

Trump has had 13 cabinet members resign now under 'trying' circumstances, in 3 years. Obama had 0 in 8, and Dubya had 1 in 8 years.

Sounds like Trump should choose better staff and 'the best people' cause he seems to actually have the worst people.

Disappointing to hear Trump state that he felt sorry for Acosta. As typical Trump takes the guy with wealth and privileges' side. A normal human being would say "I feel sorry for the sexually abused minors..."

I generally approve of Trump's policies, but he just **** as a human being and as an executive. Complete ****.

Obama had a SoS who violated espionage laws, and was complicit in her doing so. He had an AG who was in contempt of congress, and conspired to arm Mexican drug lords with untraceable guns.

Yeah, be very proud of how your fearless leader held on to a criminal cabinet, and gloat about how the current POTUS divests himself of personnel that aren't working out.

Dems, knowing they'll get a pass from the media, probably don't worry so much about scandals; while Pubs, knowing that everything they say or do not only will be repeated ad nauseum in the press, but will also be used as a club against every other member of the party, probably would tend to either try harder to avoid scandal, or at least cover their tracks better.

Just a random thought, but the blatant disregard for laws, morals, and potential embarrassment seems to be more common on the left side of the aisle. That may be true in this case as well.

I would agree with this in principle, but also add that being a member of the establishment/swamp, in both parties, will tend to blur the lines of what is right and wrong so much so that as we have seen in these last years, that party affiliation as it relates to the swamp is irrelevant in many cases.

I agree with you, and I think the "Swamp" is party-agnostic, but I do think that the ones who know they'll be under the microscope will probably exercise better judgement than the ones who feel invincible.

He is an Immoral POS and a compulsive Liar

Anyway, After Sanders stepped down they had a deck of cards for key members who resigned or were fired. Would be interesting to see who were the high cards? What members would be an Ace? A king? Queen? . Jack? Flynn for sure would be a king or Ace.

Who would be a low card? A duce? I think Scarramucci would have to be a duce

The entertainment value from all of the snowflakes continually bitching and moaning is entertaining.
