Is the Z06 fog light option a 35 watt circuit with D2S bulbs?

I'm thinking that in the future, if I get tired of the yellow light, I could also use 35 watt D2S 5000K or 6000K bulbs in the fog light projectors.

Also, if some of us don't get the halo rings, there will be a bezel around the projectors and snugged up against the shroud, right?

Thanks for making this happen. Just waiting for the GP to open.

The ZO6 fog kit (using the secondary inner projectors) uses H1 HID bulbs like the main beams. The Projector was designed around this bulb so the pattern is no different than a D2S projector. You could easily change the bulbs to a different color in the future.

Considering a bezel idea. This will depend on exactly where the projectors sit in relation to the shroud when test mounted today.

THE GP HAS BEGUN!!!

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...post1576904909

Note: I will be running the GP for 2 weeks. During this time, I will provide additional pictures, and videos of the base kit, The Bi-xenon feature in operation and some options:

- Halos in white
- “Terminator eyes” in blue and in red
- “Hyper Vision” package

The Original SLCs suffered from a problem where incoming sunlight refracted through the projector’s focal lens and focused on the shroud itself melting the ABS. This problem still exists but there are 2 known solutions:

1) The top half of the projector lens is lightly frosted (enough to breakup the direct sunlight without significantly harming the output pattern) Unless otherwise requested, this is the method that will be used.

2) The User paints an “eyebrow” on the main lens (as shown below) that blocks sunlight from ever reaching the projector.
