Heck after wiring up a new stereo in the C5 I should get some type of degree in the electrical field. I could not believe how many wires were in there. :willy: |

I hear ya:lol: Thanks for the offer but I also have a bunch:cheers: I am in a holding pattern till all the LED parts come it. I am going to wire puddle lights, Door reflectors and footwell lights at the same time. I hate having to stop once I get going:ack: Plus it is not cheap to heat my garage up to 70 degrees:crazy: Tomorrow might be the start of the Vararam install so that might take a few days :smash: |

OK I am done with the Mod. All I have left to do is supply power to the Reflector and puddle lights. I will do this once the puddle lights arrive
Good luck with this Mod. It was easy to do. Just take your time and PM me if you have any questions. Have a good one Fireman591 :flag: |
Nice work, Steve!

Steve thanks for the write up:thumbs:

Nice job.
And as an extra, we all learned a new use for Stoly minis! Whooda thunk? Your reward for a job well done, eh? |

very well done! this has moved down my list of things I want to do. your implementation just might make me want to move it up again. looks neat!
btw red led strips should be brighter in there than white, not the other way around. red LEDs are brightest behind a red lens, because the lens doesn't block any of the light energy from the LED. a white LED produces light in all wavelengths most of which are absorbed by the lens, only the red component gets through. looks fantastic though! |

You could put blue LED's in there for a cool look  |
