I changed out iridiums on my daughter's 2004 Malibu Maxx, those plugs looked GREAT for 110,000 miles, like new !
Replaced them with GM Iridiums. |
i changed to tr55's when i had the headers installed

Apparently the prev owner swapped the plugsnandmwires about year and half ago. So about 15 k miles or so. Illnleave what's on there.
He used msd wires and ngk plugs |
Many use copper plugs because they have proven to be good.....they are not expensive....and it is probably not a bad idea to change plugs every 20,000 miles or so.
I use the NKG TR6 which is one step colder than the NKG TR 55 : I use it because my motor is modified and has N20; gap .35 If your engine is stock, the NKG TR55 copper plug should work very well. 777 |
