Its funny, I just ordered new Foose wheels for my 77 today. Maybe by end of the week I'll have some pictures to post.

These are the 18" American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels. Fronts are 18x8 w/ 4" BS with Nitto NT 555 tires in 245/45ZR/18, Rears are 18x9.5 w/ 5.5" BS with Nitto NT05R tires in 285/40R/18. I'm also running big brakes, 13" Wilwood rotors with 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rears.

Need Advice on Wheels
Great Pictures on here guys.......
I need to ask for your assistance on an issue as well. I have a 1973 Corvette for which I recently purchased a set of Boyd Coddington Crown Jewels (17x8) all the way around. I have had a terrible time finding the right size tires to put on them to fill out the wheel wells and not have any clearance issues. I puchased a set of Hankook 245/45-17's but they do not come close to filling in the wells. Any advice? Also, I notice that many of your vettes appear to be riding lower...have you modified the suspensions? If so, with what kit? I was looking at the stage 4 kit mid america corvette since it said it would lower it an inch or so..... has anyone used this kit and if so...what did you think? Thanks, Jay |
Many of the members on here have lowered their cars. I for one have to have the correct stance on a car or truck. Many of the vettes on here look like they could be 4 x 4 vehicles. I bought 9" bolts for my rear leaf and cut 1 coil off my stock springs in the front. From the floor to the lip of my fenders are 26 7/8 for the front and 27 1/8 for the rear. I am very happy with my stance now.
