looks like the online registration tool is now closed. Anyone that still wants to register early can drop their completed application off at the school tomorrow.

Or just pay the extra $5 and register at the show tomorrow. It will sure go to a good cause.

Looks like it will be great weather and a good turnout. Hope to see everyone there!

OK guys. Tomorrow is the day. So far the pre registrations for the show are looking great and there is a strong showing of Corvette owners that are going to attend the event.

If you haven't already pre-registered please register at the show starting at 9AM.

It's going to be warm and hot (around 88 degrees, warmer on the pavement) so dress light and bring your shade, shades, and sunscreen.

There will be food and drinks at the event and public restrooms.

The school is counting on this show becoming a regular attraction and fund raiser so they are going all out to make this a great show.

Here is what I remember:

Oscar won for best C5/C6
John won for best C3/C4
? C1/C2 sorry, I don't remember... was busy picking up cones and taking down the "police" tape.

Show was a HUGE success, 88 cars registered, over a 100 on site that I counted at one point (some cars came really late, stayed and played but didn't register; no problem). They completely sold out of car show T-shirts, in fact they took orders to have more made. They made a ton of money from selling food and drink. The weather was great and really nice in the shade. Some really awesome cars were there, some of the best looking Camaro's that I have seen anywhere. Lots of CF Corvette members attended as well as solid representation from LCC and Sweet Rides. I counted 20 Corvettes at one point.

So it looks like the BPA kids made enough money from the show to send all of the kids to the National BPA competitions. It also looks like this will probably become an annual event for the school.They learned a lot and there will be some tweaking and improvements to the show and the classes next year.

Last but not least, The kids and the car owners had some FUN. I think the kids learned a thing or two about organizing and running a real event. Next year will be even better and bigger. The car owners had a good time socializing and showing off their prides and joys and they now have a new local show to attend.

Dave, I'm one of the guys who came late and didn't register. I did purchase a tee shirt, 10 raffle tickets and some food to support the kids. :thumbs:

Thanks for coming! The school made out every way possible. Selling drinks, food, and car show T shirts. So it was ALL GOOD.
