What ever happened to the "I'm done Modding my Car" idea?

Guess that went out the window!

Looks sharp Rick! I like it!

Try and add some matching red "Corvette" letters for the front plate and it will match up like your fear fascia!

:iagree: with this and in putting the stripe on the front license plate cover - make it look like the rear Corvette script is.

Your car just keeps getting better and better.

A little color correction makes a big difference, have to wait out this cold front until next week when the sun comes out again to take better exposures. Dang this sure makes me NOT want a C6 Z06 anymore!

I'm not normally a big fan of stripes, but I think it looks great on your car. I like the idea of the stripe matching your interior.

The red stripes do a nice job of accenting the white car ! Can you run the stripe over the front block off plate ? Do you need to run a front plate in your state ? It would look more finished if you could complete the stripe.

:iagree:

Nice job.
Nice car.

Very nice looking car. One of the nicest cars on the forum for sure.

Painted or vinyl?

I really love the look you achieved!:D Real classic Corvette colors! Your car is a real keeper.

I really want to add some striping , but I am a bit leery of vinyl and hate to spend the big bucks for a paint shop job. So are yours painted or vinyl? Would appreciate some info on them.

Also, is your red dash OEM or aftermarket? I have the 2001 torch red 1SC option, but dash is black.

I, too, am super happy with my C5. It is all the Vette I need, and has featur es, like the pop-ups, taking me back to days of old. I really don't like the C6headlights. Too modern for this old guy. Not flaming those who do, as beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and that's what makes our lives interesting and us people all unique. I know guys who don't likre the C5 and to each his own.

Thanks,
Dave

They are vinyl and I got them from http://Vettestripes.com

I changed my interior color with SEM Colorcoat. No one makes a red dash pad so you must do it yourself, or have a shop recover it for about $3000. Why I just used SEM like GM does.

NICE! I like it a lot! I don't know if the fender stripes fit with this look though...
