When the Z06 is just too boring. 700+Hp plus 2400 lbs can be fun.

Man you guys are rich! I drive a 2004 Honda civic hybrid with 181k on the clock. Car gets 44mpg....soooo.:D

2008 F150 Super crew. Daily driving is split between it and my Z06 depending on weather and hauling needs.

2004 Silverado 2500HD Duramax Diesel right at 600 rwhp and has 194k miles on it

I drive a 2008 ZO6 as my daily driver.

My wife drives a C6 convertible, or, she does until her C7 convertible arrives.

We also have a 1999 GMC Suburban but we don't drive it much. The Corvettes are just too much fun to leave them sit in the garage.

GMC Sierra pickup  and a John Deere Gator around the property.

06' Z06 for a daily driver, and an 08' Silverado when the weather isn't good.

2012 Volkswagen Passat is my current daily after having two Honda Accords. Honda dealer pissed me off with a bait and switch last year, so I jumped ship. Handling on the VW is much better than the Hondas ever were. Doesn't feel at all like a big 4 door sedan.

I also still have my 2002 Silverado Z71 that I bought new in July, 2002. It was my daily for about 5 years. Now it's just my utility, beach, hunting and tow vehicle. 11 years and it only has about 83K miles on it.

2013 Audi S4 with Stasis tuning for 400 awhp. It's a blast to drive in the snow when the Z06 can't come out.

2004 GMC Envoy XUV with 120,000 miles going to keep it until the wheels fall off

Just curious what everyone else is driving as their regular car if your Z06 isn't your DD.....which I assume is the case for 90% of the members here.

I drive a 2014 GMC Sierra All Terrain, 4x4 crew cab w/ 5.3 V8 and 3.42 rear end. Very very different from a Z06 but very enjoyable in its own right. I got a flowmaster catback on it w/ dual side exit pipes (redneck wooo) and weathertech floor liners so I can get it nice and dirty w/ no worries.

2011 328 BMW. Black/Black.

Company car---can't complain!!

2004 Toyota Corolla. Bought it brand new. Poor car only gets washed when it rains, BUT it has been a great little car to commute to work in, and to get groceries with.

wolf8218 01-14-2014 10:39 AM

Either the z06 or a 350z.

My morning commute is meant to be my wakeup routine.

I've got this DOPE AZZ 1993 Impreza 5 speed AWD 4 door saloon! It's got a massive, earth churning, 1.8 liter opposed 4 cylinder engine, laying down an IMPREZZIVE 84 horespower TO ALL FOUR WHEELS. You can hear this thing chirp a tire if the pavement is damp and you dump the clutch! DAM SON WHERE'D YOU FIND THAT? With 273,000 miles this thing is still going strong!

Sometimes I drive my 2006 Toyota Tundra 4.7 V8 luxury truck. Beast has 200,000 miles and is ultra reliable. This thing can tow 9000 pounds with ease. (not really, I did a bigger tranny cooler, tranny fluid temp gauge, and use a WDH and it gets the job done! I live in the mountains. Flatland would be no issue at all).

Or I might whir up the 2006 Prius. This thing is a traffic beast, able to move along using no fuel at all in stop and go. I averaged about 41 mpg on a road trip to texas and back though. Could be better but pretty not bad! With these snow tires and disabling the traction control, I fly by 4x4 trucks all day in the snow. With the low CG this thing really sticks to the snow.

2014 Mazda6 - 6-spd manual

I'm my opinion.... (obviously since I bought one) ...hands down the most fun, well built, do-everything, practical (40 MPG) bargain of a new car at $19k on the planet.

And the 185HP/185TQ normally aspirated Skyactive 2.5L runs on cheap gas and feels as torque-y as a turbo diesel 4 cyl.

How do you like that Chevy SS. I was thinking of trading in the G8 for that, but I didnt like it since it looked like a beefed up Malibu. :( Still a B/A car though.
