Tadge showed the slide (pictured in post #26) at the Detroit Section SAE dinner/vehicle event tonight, which featured the C7 Corvette, saying that they had just completed the SAE certification with those resulting numbers.

A nice ending to his and Ken Parkinson's presentation. As an aside, they had the C7 Z06 cutaway, a shark gray Z06, and a blue convertible Z06 (all properties that have been on the auto show circuit).

All I'm saying is that it is 99.9% perfect car. Why not get it perfect if you're so close?!? GM appears to be going for the home run and pull all the stops.
