Incredible numbers.
Another world beater for team Corvette. |
The Viper guys are not going to like this news.

Now that we know the power, all I want to know is.....Will it be enough to take on the Hellcat?

You heard it here first ;-) I'll post up the dyno chart later but I'm sure someone else will post it before me... |

This generation of Z06 is going to be a machine for the ages!

truly monstrous for a car with GM's power train warranty !
|
Nice! Thanks! man, that is crazy how it just demolishes the LS7. so it looks like a 6,400rpm cut-off.
|
Better than expected.
|
Well the ZR1 had a nice run. The king is dead. Long live the king !!!!
|
Epic! This is truly a dream super car within budget. Now let's just get the paint right.

Tadge showed the slide (pictured in post #26) at the Detroit Section SAE dinner/vehicle event tonight, which featured the C7 Corvette, saying that they had just completed the SAE certification with those resulting numbers.
A nice ending to his and Ken Parkinson's presentation. As an aside, they had the C7 Z06 cutaway, a shark gray Z06, and a blue convertible Z06 (all properties that have been on the auto show circuit). |

Thanks for posting the great news

Congrate GM and Corvette engineers, these numbers are fabulous.
|
505 to 650. That's quite a jump.
|
Speechless
If this car has 650/650, what's the "true hot rod" in 2016 that Keeks said was coming? I mean, even with the best launch control there's only so much HP that this platform will put to the ground. So, if there's a "true hot rod" coming, it can't be just more HP, right?
Gene? Keeks? Bueller? |
