I am curious as to all of the Vette owners whose cars would still be under factory warranty based on mileage/time; when you install all of these performance mods such as superchargers, heads/cams,etc., etc., it voids your factory warranty?
I guess you all are more fortunate than I because I need my warranty to pay for repairs itself since these cars aren't cheap to fix and can't afford to pay for all the repairs that these cars need.

That must be nice to have all the knowledge/equipment/money to repair everything on your Vette yourself. As for me, I consider myself doing good just keeping up with the payments and insurance.

Mods are bad.. I would never think of modifying my car.. I always like to leave things on a car completely how they were when the car rolled off the assembly line! :D

This game is a biatch, no one invited you to join if you dont want to, stop your complaining ...this isn't "c5 stock performance tech section" This is a game that you have to be a little ceazy to want to play but it pays off huge, wait till your stock vette gets spanked by another vette or a mustang even, you'll be signing up to become a member...

Hi everyone, :seeya

I'm snide, and I think I may be a modaholic. :D

I missed the first meeting, so I'll just list all the mods I've done this year. First of all was a Donaldson Blackwing. Yes, I started small, but you gotta start somewhere. :D

Next was a Hurst shifter. Although I've only had it for a couple of months, I can't believe I didn't do this sooner.

Last week I ordered some chrome Z06 rims and Nitto 555 tires. I needed tires anyway and my stock 5 spoke rims all pitted and nasty looking so I went ahead and got new chromies. After putting them on a couple of days ago, all I can say is WOW! They look awesome. And the Nitto's drive much better than the F1 EMT's.

Sitting inside my front door are the SLP Loudmouths that I ordered recently. They just showed up a couple of days ago and I will get them installed next weekend.

That's all the mods my credit card would allow for this year. :( But for 2003 I hope to add headers and perhaps a head/cam package. :D

Not me, I'm not a modaholic! I can stop anytime I want to! Really, I can... :D. Besides, I only mod socially...you know, like someone else will be doing a supercharger, so I'll do one, too, just so they don't have to mod alone....that kind of thing. :crazy:

This is actually crazy...this post forced me to think about what I've done this year....dang!!

Katech head/cam package, FLP headers, SpecterWerkes rear fascia, Motor City Mold hood, Ronal wheels, BFG KDs, aluminum gauge bezels, Design Specialties mats. Still to come: Bilsteins, BMR sway bars, maybe 3.73s, clutch, LG headers. But I'm in control - really :D.

My main concern at this point, now that I have admitted that I am a modaholic is that this last series of mods is supposed to be it for me...I would like to wrap up my addiction and be satisfied..there was once a forum member here who in his sig had written.
There is a fine line between hobby and mental illness...
I guess we are all just really sick! I wonder if my insurance can cover some counselling sessions.

Well, I thought I was just a moderate modaholic when I installed B&M ripper, Cags defeat, wet okole seatcovers, Speed lingerie bra, and lloyd's mats on my Z. But then tyhe one sickness that can be transmitted by internet got a hold of me - Mod Fever! So off to CARTEK went my car, she sits there as we speak with surgery being performed to alter her genetics and make her a screaming banshee!
