For shallow scratches, a compound or scratch X recommendation may suffice, but only if it hasn't penetrated deep into the clear or through the base coat.
If the scratch is deep I'd recommend using a Dr. Colorchip kit for a DIY fix. It's low on the car and you'd likely never notice it again. Respraying the area poses risks unless done by a highly skilled professional. If it was my car I'd repair it with the Dr. Colorchip kit and never think about it again. |

Thanks all for all the suggestions. Scratch X did nothing. As suspected, way too deep of a scratch. Getting first oil change next month. Will talk to the dealer when I get it done. |
