Me too...Sent them back the invoice with "cancel" on it. Got a call and the $77 offer with no effort. Told em to bill me again. I'll play the game for as long as I can!

I got the $77 deal, plus 3 months free, on my newly acquired GM exec car no problem.

Just renewed mine today with another phone number that was listed on another thread. I had no problems getting the $77 yr deal from it without auto renewal. :yesnod:

Just read this post today and decided that I would call XM this week...and 5 hours later they called me!

I was nice (and so was the XM representative) when I asked for the discount. She put me on hold to consult her manager and came back to tell me that I could get the promo price and the multi-radio discount for $6.99 per month for my Benz.

I figure I saved close to $100 a year...I think it was a pretty good deal (and that's $100 towards the next mod!).

Thanks for the info!

Not to worry I initially gave a credit card at first also...but when I decided to canx they credited by card without a fight. Then several weeks later was given the $77 deal!!!

I renewed this week after getting the post card offer for $77.00. I told her that I had XM in my wife's CTS-4 and she advised me to ask for the 2nd car discount next year when this $77.00 needs to be renewed. The 2nd car only costs $6.99/month. What I will do is cancel both of them and only renew if I get them each for the $77.00.

Thanks for posting!!!

I had to be persistent as the rep kept asking for the promo code. In the end, I got the $77 rate. And as long as I get that, I will continue to renew.

A good deal, BUT, XM/Sirius is in big financial straits. It has to renew over $1 billion of debt this year. The first big chunk is in Feb. Most speculation (i.e. the stock price @ $.11 a share) is that no one is going to lend them the money. Chapter 11 is almost certain if they can't re-fi, but that would only happen if they could get DIP financing. If they can't Chap 7 wouldn't be far behind

Weirdly enough I have 3 XM accounts and I was being charged on 2 of them as regular accounts, instead of having only one fully charged and 2 on family plans. I made a stink about that and also about having to start paying for xm online in March and wow they offered me half off ($77) my primary account, and half off my 2 family lines. I signed up all 3 for a year, very nice.
