Another update. Today I made a verbal agreement with a restoration shop for some body work on my 66 coupe as a finder fee for helping them secure the car. I think that is the best deal for me. ANOTHER UPDATE,I just bought this 63 shell. The guy also gave me a lot of parts that go with it. Dash frame, spare tire tub, 2 extra coupe doors. etc. I plan on trading the car to a restoration shop toward some work on my 66 L36 coupe. We just have to agree on how much this 63 is worth, any ideas? Mark

When I saw the thread title "Abandoned 63 coupe" the first thought that came to mind was:

So what is the story behind the car as far as how it became a pile. Did you ask about what the owner knows about the car and how it was used and customized/raced/never finished project? I want the story of the car's early years.
