Just saw this thread, wow, am I jealous, that has always been one of my dream corvettes...along with a '67 427/435hp. Definitely subscribed and love the videos.

Radiator is out. You can now see the Callaway oil cooler that is sandwiched between the AC condenser and the radiator.

Radiator shroud
Chris, when I reinstalled the shroud. I moved those 3 capture nuts on the shroud to the part of the shroud that stayed on the car on both sides. Then you can access them easier thru the front radiator opening to reinstall. Kevin

Great thread. If I had it, the damn modification bug would be hitting me...

Here is a look at the heat shield for the hot side of the turbo.

Ha, that's exactly what I was thinking about doing! Glad to know it works out. Thanks.
The c4 is new to me so I really appreciate folks like you that post experiences and knowledge. My goal, if the tree huggers don't take over the world, is to roll this c4 into a low mileage, last model year ZR-1. My childhood dream car. |

Oh, gosh. I remember removing, cleaning and polishing that bracket. What a pain that was to get down in those corners.
I've never been a fan of painting aluminum parts, though, so I never go that far with it. Anyway. Looks good. Good work. |
Wow, I didn't realize the turbos were so small!
You do some very clean resto work. |
