It definitely is tacky and WAY played out! They were doing this on the C6 Corvette's.

Well, since you asked, yes I do, in addition to all the goofy badging, the "matching" luggage, the stark white interior trim pieces, and the absurd markup. I also think "sparkle" black and pearl white paint on a Z06 are tacky. Who knew GM was going to bring back "Pimp My Ride"?

Someone in design at chevrolet still thinks they are catering to the corvette baby boomer owner stereotype .. the whole idea of "anniversary" or "commemorative"anything just screams 1980's "collectible coins" tv commercials.

Badges, wheels stripes, all of it is just so damn tone deaf in 2022.

And yet they will sell every one of them. When they make less money by offering them, they will stop.

Even worse, they had a red wheel stripe on the 25th Anniversary Indy Pace Cars. I liked it at the time, but I was in grade school.
