Some of the traction control systems are new innovations. I can't say how much of a step forward they are, though. As for ABS...I hate it. I can stop faster and safer by modulating my foot pressure that what an ABS system could do - I've driven a few ABS-equipped vehicles that were, quite frankly, frightening.

The real bottom line to all this, build what you like. There is no one system better than the other given the same exat set up. The that is next to impossiable to achive. My self, I love a good mechanical FI system, Hilbourn type that is!! lol lol

I'd love to have a vintage Vette or 57 Bel Aire with the Rochester mechanical injection...

Old school body styles too.

Another item in favor of old-school is body style. The Mustang is back to thier old style - though greatly improved inside - so is the Charger. Another Cuda is comming soon. And serious rumors of a remake of the 60's Camaro too. Always plenty of Cobra kit cars around - heck i think Carroll Shelby is making real Cobras again in Las Vegas.:yesnod: Plenty of old school style that just won't be forgotten.
Can't list any hi-tech body styles other than the viper - well and the C5/C6 corvettes.
