I am finally home!

Hey guys,
I just wanted to update you all that I am back from my 6 month tour of duty to both Iraq and Afghanistan. All my fingers and toes are in tact. I spent yesterday taking the C6 out for a spin and getting the bike back to riding order. (wife had to work) Anyway I just wantedto thank you all for your support and please ask you to keep all our troops in your prayers. No matter what CNN says the war is very real over there and they need all the prayers they can get.

I would like to speak for the many if I may. People all over this country want you to know that no matter what we may think of the Commander in chief, no matter what the feelings for this war are, no matter what our politics are.....We all support YOU and the many thousands like you who stand up for this country.

If only one good thing came from Vietnam, it was the lessons we took with us about brave men such as yourself.

Thank You :flag: :flag:

Well thanks everyone. My motorcycle is a swift Bar chopper but I love it and took it out today. As far as getting the vette up to catapult speed that is easy but I am not volunteering my vette. I do have to go back in 4 months so I am trying to enjoy some time before the end of JAN. Thanks for all your kind words it really means a lot.

My heartfelt thanks to you and your fellow servicemen and women for volunteering to serve the greatest country this world has ever seen.

Because of you and millions of others before you, many who have made the ultimate sacrifice, this country continues to be free and rings the bell of freedom every day for the world to hear.

God bless you and everyone else serving the USA :flag:

Seriously thank you for the words. I have forwarded this thread to my buddies still over there and it means so much. As anyone knows who has gone it is not easy being away from home and hearing all the cr@p the news airs. I could only imagine what it was like in Vietnam. I thank all veterans. Do a burnout for those that can't

Those of us that were in the service during Vietnam are in some ways seeing " Deja Vu" all over again. The results of the decisions by the "Grand Thinkers" that get us into these situations are always borne by the men & women that have to do the actual dirty work that get's the job done. For doing your part we all thank you & you along with any other G.I. that I run into that's sticking his or her neck out for the rest of us, your money's no good at the bar.
