For the 7spd maybe. :)

Apparently someone went 129.50 with a stock 06 z06 with 505 h.p.Why would this one run the same trap speed?I see it going 131 to 133 right in zr1 territory. The 8 speed auto should dip into the 10s i would think.

MSRP is $79,900....ring time is 7:05.21, you will take delivery on 2/6/15, it will be 38 degrees, 30% humidity, winds out of the SW at 5 - 10 mph that day, you will have Linguini with clam sauce for dinner that night with a bottle of nice, crisp Gruner Veltliner. Your pal, Nostra PS. Your cat is stuck in the tree. PSS. Nevermind, that's next week on the cat thing. |

GTR's run 11.1 stock, weighs more and trap 124-125 and cut 1.6 60ft. I would expect the Z06 to trap 130+. I am guessing 10.8 with auto.

Looks like the c7 z06 guys who ordered are crying--wanted 10s from the factory--not this time-order a smaller pulley for the S/C--No don't voids warranty-:seeya
What the HELL are you talking about, the new C7 Z will do at least high 10s all day long out of the box, bone stock, with auto tranny, and should see mid 10s consistently with drag radials and decent track conditions. :flag: |

Newbie drivers. Drivers who are scared of the car or scared of breaking their friend's car. Passes on unprepped tracks/excessive wheel spin etc. But at a sea level or even 'near sea level' track in any temperature under 75 degrees, the potential WILL be there for a bone stock C7 Z06 to run in the 10s on EVERY single pass. :yesnod: |

With the C7Z being superior to the C6 ZR1, is there any reason the C7Z would cost less? I just can't imagine GM selling this car for less than $100k to start.

It's called new technology, also the fact that it shares many of the base model parts, will keep cost down. |

The chief engineer of the new Z06 stated...subtract $35k from the ZR1 and you have the price of the Z06. Hope that is sufficient reason. |
