That car looks suspiciously like the one in your avatar.
I'm not sure what a clean air vehicle is. |
I'm guessing electric !!!!
|
Boggles my mind.... why do people black out/blur license plate numbers?? Have they ever stopped to think how many people see it every day?

What does clean air vehicle actually mean? My Pzev is defined as a clean air vehicle. My c5 gets better mpg! It's amazing how some can't stick to a subject ! Yes people hide plates what's wrong in that? Are you parking enforcement? Lol I got all sorts of goodies hiding my plate besides the point. I thought it was funny a c5 sitting in a clean air space just little jokes brighten up people.
Battery cars yes clean air and polluted ground and ground water lol. Wheres the spot for that. |
That's great
The first and last time I posted my plate online, I got a ticket in the mail a week later. Long story short, it turns out that someone had made a fake plate with my numbers/letters on it and put it on an SUV. The ticket was for blowing through a red light in another state. People local to you aren't necessarily the ones going to try to do funny business with your info |

As far as a clean air vehicle, ppffftttt, no such thing. My 2002 Corvette gets better gas mileage than my 4 banger Eagle Talon. |
I'm more curious as to why "clean air vehicles" get designated spots to park in

Looks like clean air vehicles leak a lot of oil.

Battery cars yes clean air and polluted ground and ground water lol. Wheres the spot for that. The designated parking ridiculous in it's self. An electric outlet may look clean but for some reason people don't think critically enough to understand how electricity is made. If too many people drove these it would overload the grid. How many diesel lineman trucks would it take to maintain that? I guess some people feel they are entitled to special privileges. Any way, thanks for posting. |
Your still prying away it looks like the car in the profile Haha it does look alike !
|
Its going to be a long wait for critical thinking. I’m just gonna say “Merica” because that explains it all. Why question 100 year old technology.

There is plenty of humor here. It is just ironic and a little dry.

No I'm not, it just makes about ZERO sense. And if you don't want comments - don't put it out there in the first place. Get over it.

Special spot makes them feel special. Feeds their overblown sense of self satisfaction.

Doesn't a Vette have zero emissions when it is parked?
|
I believe the dmv wants a special green tag to park in these spots! For kicks I just might go and apply for 1
|
What state is this in? I'm going to guess Cali.

My C5 gets fabulous MPG's so I would assume our cars fall into the clean air category. Thanks for the share!
|
We don't even have inspections here. Hurricanes clean the air.

If he wants to blur out the license plate, that’s his choice. Same as if someone doesn't want to. Not something to get all worked up over. It’s nice if we all just get along.
It would be good to know just what the requirement are for being able to park in a spot like that. |

Here's a link to a list of vehicles currently on the list they qualify for their badge decal the c5 isn't listed although it should be they got a f150 up there from 2000.
He seems boggled by people blurring plates the post indicated he was bothered by a blurred plate . I simply asked a few questions to help my self figure out why this guy is bothered by blurred plates no harm intended. Get along indeed! :iagree: https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/ |

Why get personal when arguing a topic? People act differently when behind a keyboard. You lose a essential part of human communication and some people find it difficult to compensate for that missing bandwidth. With essential information missing (human contact) things can spiral downwards rather quickly. |
My commuter car for work is electric (Bolt).all I know is that at 6.8 cents a Kw hour its cheaper to drive it than anything else. Plus the fact that there's no oil or filter changes, no exhaust system and very little on the maintenance schedule. The state of PA requires inspection and the county I live in requires emissions testing (which I don't have to do). We all have the right to an opinion, we just need to respect each others right to disagree. Not everyone who takes advantage of new technology is smug or a tree hugger. I more than offset my "clean living" with a Hemi Charger, Corvette, and a 6.7L Ram diesel.

My friends own electric cars they all say they are scared to death when is the next time the battery is gonna drop a deuce in the middle of traffic. What exactly happens to these batteries when disposed of? out of sight out of mind?
How many people throw tv remote aa batteries in the trash still and don't recycle them same thing is s gonna be with car powered batteries.Landfill . Build autobahns they help cut emissions by a lot. Studies have proved in Germany cars that spent less time getting to their destination also made less emissions. Leave the batteries for rc cars and tv remotes. Hence I got all these speeding tickets to save the environment no good deed goes unpunished lol |
I cringe at the thought of when I hear about mandates requiring all cars to be electric by a certain date.
Images of fuel pumps slowly disappearing come to mind, limiting how far and how often you can drive. With the US dollar being backed by oil, I see a one world currency in the near future. |

China has bigger problems to deal with than converting all to electric vehicles. The air is so polluted some days you can't even see the sky.
