Do the lights on your visor vanity mirrors work?
 

Mine don't for some reason, but the bulbs appear intact. Fuses okay too. Hmm... :confused:

My vanity mirrow lights work but the map reading light under the
rear view mirror does not work. Bulbs appear to be ok.

Mine don't work, but then... they don't have lensesover them either :banghead: I honestly haven't spent any time looking at them yet. However, my drivers side visor is pretty torn up and it doesn't have a vanity mirror - just a map strap. Apparently Chevrolet has recently discontinued the map strap visor, and I can;t find one, so I've been thinking of buying the left side visor with vanity mirror and taping off of the wires for the right side miror for power... When I do that, I'll get around to fixing the right side...

i took mine apart while working on the roof release, the wires were broken inside the roof molding, i fixed them up and now it works :yesnod:

Just an FYI, the key has to be on for them to work, and there is also a switch. I thought mine didn't work at first but then I realized that when I turned the key on they worked.

I bet that's whats wrong with mine, I have sat in passenger side and they wouldn't work. My wife used it the other day while driving down the road and they worked. I thought what the heck. Now I know. Thanks for the info. :party:

Yes, and it's a good thing they shut off with the ignition or I would have had a few dead batteries. I think mine turn themselves on. :smash: :seeya

I had my visors reupholsterd (leather) and didn't even realize the light didn't work until the shop pointed it out. I didn't really care anyways. That is pretty low on my LIST of things to fix anyways.

Just checked. They're both working fine on my '94. Don't think I've ever used them, although I've accidently turned them on a few times.

All lights work...they'll probably last forever as I never use them. Passenger side is a different story :D

map lights and vanity not working until I fixed the intermitent inop display on electronic climate control. These things must share a comon ground. :rolleyes:
