Powder Coating

Anyone have the name of a good powder coating service. I'm in Western PA but would see shipping items to be powder coated, if feasible.

Thanks,
Sam

Powder Coating

I just took a set of valve covers here to be powder coated. I haven't received them back yet, but I have heard that they do a good job. The guy I talked to said that they do the powder coating for Paragon reproductions and the valve covers for the GM performance parts 572 crate engines. When I was there he had a complete C3 frame and all of the suspension components that they were doing for approx $1400 (sandblast, prep, masking, etc)

Hope this helps

Matt

These guys are in Fairview, PA - just west of Erie. They can do anything and I like their work.

Do it yourself. Easy to do, and if you have an air compressor, you're already halfway there (Media blasting). Just tell the wife that you're making chicken in the oven so she doesn't pop it open and see your valve covers sitting in there. ;) Took me a couple tries to get it right, but hey, it's fun learning.
