92’ LT1 injector resistance??

It may not be a problem, but I just checked all my injectors,
1=12.0 3=12.1 5=12.0 7=12.3
2=12.4 4=12.3 6=12.3 8=12.2
I read somewhere that the injector resistance should be between 16 and 17 ohm’s.
Could someone with a 92’ and stock injectors please test their injector’s resistance and let me know what you get.
Thanks Denver.

The Helms manual for my '91 says that all injectors should be within 1.0 ohm of each other and should not be less than 10 ohms at 70F. :cheers:

'92 injectors are supposed to be 12 ohms.

I'd say you are fine... the chance of all injectors is quite uncommon. if you have a significant variance I would then worry...

The last time I measured my injectors on my 96, they were:

1-3-5-7 (12.1, 12.0, 12.1, 12.1); 2-4-6-8 (12.1, 11.9, 11.9, 12.1)

They were measured cold. Hot, they'd be a tad higher.

When I measured those on my 88 several years ago, they were:

1-15.9; 3=15.8; 5=15.9; 7=16.0; 2=16.0; 4=15.9; 6=15.8; 8=15.7

How do you check them?

Remove the wire connectors from the injectors. Then using a Digital Multi Meter set on the lowest ohm setting, touch the Red DMM led to one of the injector pins and the Black DMM led to the other injector pin, note the reading.
