Interesting he is using toluene as an octane booster. It is not that expensive and available here is 5 gallon cans.

Toluene is the "active" ingredient in so-called octane boosters.

I had no idea you sold the blue car. Sorry to see it go. :( I met you at Tom's house about 3 yrs ago. I still have the photo of our 3 chrome bumper C3's all with Richmond gear 5 or 6 speed conversions.
