New Convertible top in-a-can

The convertible top on my car was in good shape with no tares. But I really hated to put it up because it was so yellowed. Just not nice to look at and didn't match the rest of the car. Well it looks like its NEW now! I used "new convertible top in-a-can" All I can say is WOW. Anyone with a faded top should look in to this. A whole lot cheaper then a new top and easer to put on. Here are a few pictures of the finished product.

I wish they had that in vinyl knit....

...and clear!!! I'd LOVE to spray on a patch over my ripped window...

...I'd even be WILLING to leave the little "pressure relief slits" (rips... :ack: ) if I could just spray on a nice rear window!

Wow do I dread putting on this top I've had for....well, let's just admit I've had it "for a while"....I stupidly WATCHED the video....ohgawdNO!!!

:willy:

Thanks for the tip!

I'm in the same situation. The previous owner replaced the top on my car just before he parked it....about 25 years ago! It's in perfect condition but has yellowed over the years. I'll keep this stuff in mind when it's time to bolt the top and frame back on. I would never have thought something in a can like that would give such good results.
