How do I remove my ECM? 87 vert

I did a search but there is just too much info to wade through. I see that it is behind the passenger kick panel.
Any tips on how to get to it and get it out?
I am sending my chip to ski_dwn_it to have him customize it for me.
His web site is www.azzatochips.com
He is going to burn a custom "memcal" for me at a cost of $250 plus $10 shipping. He supplies a nice form on the website to mail in with your chip. It allows you to list your mods so he can come up with what is best for y our application.
I know that others have had great experiences with him and great service.

Real easy to get to and get out.
I took mine out this past winter.

First I made sure the top was down on the car beause thats where my legs ended up when my head was under the passenger dash.

Couple of screws to get the kick panel off. Look straight up from where your feet go and its the box with all the wires going to it.

I forget the details but anyone can figure it out.
Unclip the wires by hand, I think there are a couple of screws for a cover that holds it in place and it's out.

Going back in is just as easy.

Thanks 87 Rag. I will be at Bloomington Gold in June. Anything I can get for your car at the swap meet? They have everything there. How bout a hat or T shirt?

Before doing anything with the ECM, I would disconect the battery.
