whats the ugliest C4 you`ve seen
 

Well we`ve had a great thread about who has the nicest C4 on the forum, Now we need this thread about the ugliest C4 that the forum members have seen. I`ll start with this one from a recent post on the forum.

This is one ugly Vette IMHO :flag:

Luckily, that's an altered photo. The edges of the Vette are way too clean to be an original part of that photo, although I have seen a monster truck Vette before.
The ugliest C4 I've seen would have to be my own when I was in the process of putting the new engine in. No hood, covered in dust, parts scattered EVERYWHERE in my garage. It wasn't pretty. The worst part of it was that I was a long way from pushing it out of the garage, let alone driving it. To me, that's the ugliest kind of Vette. One that I own, yet cannot drive! :willy:

This is the worst I've seen in person...but I've seen pictures of worse!

Anything with an aftermarket body kit.Nuff said.

Oh, c'mon even the Callaway stuff? I mean, their kits actually flow with the original C4 lines.

While I do like the Callaway cars,dont really care for the Aero? body kits.One thing that always bothered me about the Callaway body kit was the way the front moulding gets pinched through the front bumper on the pre 91 cars.But I do like the Speedsters.I cant stand the Stalker kits,these are the worst and the Greenwood kits is a little out there too.I know some will be put off by my comments,but you asked.Some of the body kits of the past were just hideous.Thats one thing I dont miss about seeing C4s in all the magazines are all those goofy body kits.

kits are for kids (the ones who don't know any better).

i'm willing to bet that if a poll was taken on 100% of all vette owners, you might get 5% that accept the idea. maybe thats even high.

sure, kit it up.....then good luck selling it. and take the pummeling on the devaluation. a corvette is a corvette.....full body kits make it a partial corvette.....and by then, the americana is mostly gone. god knows what you'd call it then.....not a corvette - with a straight face anyway.

put it this way.....its the body of a real corvette that defines it to begin with. mess with it too much and you're looking at some other car.
sure makes alot of sense --- a corvette that doesn't really look like a corvette. how "cool" is that anyway? :lol:

i know my words are harsh. i normally am not this way, but feel very strongly about NOT screwing up the OE lines in any way. this is public opinion so i let 'er rip........at the risk of offending others, if i can somehow be instruimental in changing the mind of someone contemplating the destruction of their car into some frankenvette-mobile, even 1 person, then i'll consider my efforts successful.
