GM C6 Color Matching FRC's installed

I got mine from Gene yesterday. They look Great!!! Now all I need is the car to put them on! :willy:

They all look really nice. Some look good with matching colors. Some look good with contrasting colors; for example, a friend with a silver coupe has red fuel rails with corvette & LS2 in silver. My triple black vert has stainless steel fuel rail covers with Z51 emblems.

Those black fuel rail covers would go great with Machine silver exterior!

Frc ?
Please forgive my ignorance, but do FRCs serve any function? Are they for dressing up an otherwise ugly engine ( I've seen pictures with the covers off). Might they protect the underside of the hood from heat?
And lastly, wouldn't the engine run slightly cooler without them? I really like the looks of the painted ones, so I just ask out of sheer curiosity. GM |

Cool. Do they offer the paint in non-glossy? Similar to the LS7 FRCs?
