1988 Targa Top Storage Bracket Question
 

The two Targa Top brackets in the hatch of my 1988 are missing the rubber inserts. I bought part # 622-837 from Mid America. This part number is for the rubber roof storage bracket inserts. I feel stupid because I havnt the slightest clue how they go in. Can someone email me or post pics of the brackets with the rubber inserts inside of them?? Thanks so much!!

I have the same problem only I have been sitting on mine for almost a year. I keep forgetting to ask this qquestion when I am sitting in front of the computer. I also have the hatch window drain kit.
Mine seem too small.

Hate to resurrect an OLD thread, but I have the same question, and can't seem to find the answer... anyone know?

no one makes the rubber for 88 I have looked hard if anyone has an answer chime in

It has been awhile sense I went threw this but I think you have to by used brackets off a 89 up C4, then new rubber if the ones you bouht are no good then you have to by the plastic covers as they are diierent then 88. I think this is correct as it has been awhile, I was able to find a sim size rubber cut it down and use weather strip adh to hold it in place. I also put a peice of cloth on both conners for protection when storeing it just in case.
