Lemans Blue vs Electron Blue

Can anyone comment on the visual differences of the Lemans Blue from the 2004 CE and the 2002-2004 Electron Blue? I am wondering if they are different or not. I have seen them both in person, but never side by side???
Thanks

Zilla 09-30-2005 10:52 AM

Lemans Blue is dark than electron blue and Navy Blue is the darkest blue

I knew that the Navy 99-01 was the darkest blue and I guess you could say that Nassau 97-00 is the lightest blue, but you think that Lemans is definately darker than Electron???

:iagree:
The darker looks like Navy, Lemans is very close to Electron. :iagree:

I've seen them side by side at the Dallas Auto Show all shiny and under the lights.

The electron is just ever so slightly "brighter" then the lemans. But it was hard to tell. :willy:

Not quite twins. I like Electron Blue better, but they're both knock out colors on the C5.

Electron Blue is much darker than Nassau Blue. I don't know how anyone can say otherwise!

Lemans Blue

That looks about the right color contrast between the EB and the Lemans. I've had my EB sitting next to a Lemans and the Lemans looked very dark.

The vert is a CE, look at the circle around the logo on the wheel caps. The CE 2004 vettes had special wheel caps and the interior is definately shale. So thanks for confusing me a little more, how about a picture of all 4 blues all together???

I stand corrected... I think you're right - the interior and logos are too new to be a NBM car. I'd like to see a pic of all the blues together, too. Anyone got one?

I agree. There is no doubt that it is a litlle difficult to visualize the nuances between these shades of blue without having each specific shade lined up next to eachother. However, the color gradient, from lightest to darkest, would follow like this: Nassau Blue, Electron Blue, Le Mans Blue, and, Navy being the darkest. Best wishes. :):):)

I can say Otherwise!!! Because in certain lighting, EB looks very damn close to Nassau Blue.. It glows...

And to the original poster, Lemans looks purple in some lights, twilight... EB looks dark blue in certain lights,
bright blue in others, and it GLOWS in other lights:

Also in low light the LB takes on a purple tone while the EB stays pure blue. I think EB is the best blue with Nassau a close second. I had a LB and most folks asked if it was purple...
