Carbon Fiber mud flaps and rear facia.
I would like someone to make the mud flaps, rear facia and the front nose piece out of Carbon Fiber. I think the plastic parts look cheap. This car deserves something a little more exotic. I know the mud flaps and nose are going to get damaged from daily driving, track days, road debris etc.
I have never been one for spending money on bling and other crap that doesn't make the car faster, but imagine how nice the carbon fiber accessoires would look on any of the Corvette colors. I would take a set. What do you think? |
I think after you paint the bumper covers it will look just like the plastic ones. Porsche's bumper covers are the same as the vettes, flexible plastic.

I want the carbon fiber look. I think that the carbon fiber would look better.
Painting them would be an option too. |

I was thinking the samething about getting the rear CF piece. The flaps and front splitter would be nice also.
WCC has the rear for the C6 and I would hope that they will come out with the other pieces. |

CF will crack as soon as you hit it with something substantial. |
I hit a car in my race car (all carbon), and it didn't crack. It is stiff, but will take a lot more force before it flexes.
Corvetteracebodies.com already has all of your body parts in lightweight carbon (not the crash test friendly GM stuff). Even if you paint over it, you can still see the carbon mesh through the paint-looks quite exotic to me. Mud flaps sound pretty cool, however. |

I want a sutble black CF look to go with my LMB Z06. I'll call them today. Take care, Dave |
