Bought a ZR1 today......
 

About a month ago I wrecked my 90' L98, so I was in search of a new Vette. Last week I test drove a 91' ZR1 OMG!!!!!!!!!!! What a difference. This car is a beast!!!! I won't be picking it up till next week.:( ( car is out of town)

SWEET! I was looking for a nice ZR-1 when I opted to buy this L-98 and build it. I'm supposed to race a local guy with a 92 ZR-1 this weekend, so I'll soon know if I made the right choice! Enjoy the Z! :cheers:

Sounds like a sweet set-up you have there..............should be an interesting race...........is the ZR1 your running stock? If so I would think you would hand him his azz IN THE 1/4, anything after that and well.............. :lol:

I would wreck my '88 beauty if I knew I could replace it with a ZR-1!

I think he has a K&N, after market chip, and Exhaust. I've driven the car (before he bought it) and I think I can hand him his hat up until at least 130 or so. I do know that this 383 with the SuperRam pulls hard as hell to 6000+. It will be interesting. I did 70 - 160 the other night (with the top off) in a very short time. :eek: :eek: The problem I'm finding is getting off the line quickly!

If you can get it to hook I don't think the Z will pose a threat.......not in the 1/4 atleast. Your set-up is what I was planning on doing with mine till I decided to go the LT-4 Route. I would love to see some pics.
