Wiring Diagram.

How detailed are the wiring diagrams from the different suppliers? I have a 74 and I'm in serious need of a diagram. Do they list the color of each wire and the location of the different connectors?
Thanks

I've got two of Don's diagrams, 75 and 76. They include color codes wire and vaccum diagrams. Great product. They're also laminated.

I have the poster from Lectric Limited. It's 2X2 feet and laminated. If you use a magnifying glass it's great but there is really too much information in too small a place. I don't know about Don's diagrams but try to find one like the factory used. One system at a time and printed on big paper.

I have the Lectric Limited diagram. It will tell you the gauge and color of the wire and what it connects to, but not the location of the connectors in the car.

I sent you a PM

I got Dons for my 76 and they are all you will need. They are bigger than the 2'x2' and are laminated so all the oil and grime you leave on it while you are tracing a wire with your finger will wipe right off.

Don's are the best by far. Have one for my 69 on the garage wall.

He has the 1953 through 1981 wiring diagrams drawn in full color. All of his drawings are printed in full color to match what was on the car originally, the size is about 22x34" and are laminated in 5 mil clear plastic on both sides.

The drawings are year specific and each year covers coupe and converts. Included on each drawing are all electrical options, fuse/circuit breakers (with their ratings) and lamps (with their numbers).

The drawings for the C3 Corvettes also include the color coded vacuum drawings for the headlamps, heater-a/c controls, and for the ealy C3s, the windshield wiper door.

You will NOT find a diagram that shows this. The Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM) is the only source for connector locations....and those illustrations are spread throughout the 300 or so pages.
Go with Don's.

Hey Eddie,

What is the status of the block you bought that arrived damaged? Was it resolved satisfactorly?

To those that have one of my diagrams, thanks for the kind words.
