Check the prices at http://www.corvette-rubber.com. Their prices were the best when I recently replaced some weather stripping.

Try:
Jeff Kopp - '18carfan'. Always check with him first (assuming they are still available from GM. Even if they aren't, Jeff can sometimes find some old stock at one of the Chevy dealers). Corvette America has the highest prices, followed closely by Ecklers and Mid-Am, Corvette Central, and Zip. Next lower are Al Knoch Interiors. Below that is The Last Detail. Below them will be where Jeff always comes in. [Modified by gh86E, 7:14 PM 8/4/2001] |

Yes, that's true. Jeff has the BEST prices around, although you don't necessarilly need original GM replacement parts for weatherstipping. As a matter of fact these aftermarket companies probably make GM's moldings anyway. I just had this discussion with Jeff last week. I ended up buying the generic brand from Corvette-Rubber for about $25 less... sorry Jeff!

Well I need the inner glass seals also, but what I was talking about is the top piece of the door. It's a strip of plastic. What you'd rest your arm on when hangin' it out the window, y'know?
I checked the website though and TLD has that part for $62 each where Eckler's wants $76.99 each... and seeing as how I need 2 of them: Eckler's: $153.98 TLD: $124 I save $29.98.... but STILL... I mean it's JUST PLASTIC!!! Man I wish there were more C4's in the boneyard! [MAD] <--- I'm boycotting the new mad smiley cause I liked the old one! [MAD] |

I'm looking in the latest Mid-America catalog, pg 166. 84-89 Seal, upper door panel LH/RH inner (GM) - $31.99 each.
When you buy replacement door panels, you can get them bare, or with the extra trim (which includes the inner window seal, as well as the handle and more). The additional cost is usually $40 or so. I don't see how they're asking $77 each. |

Bryant, bring the price and part number from the cheapest place you can find down to Ecklers and tell them to match it. If they don't, give me a call, and I'll bi|ch slap em.
