Hardtop or Convertible
If money was'nt an issue, and it was'nt your daily driver, would you rather have a hardtop or a convertible??

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (CowboyNVette)
Convertible. :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: Same here but where  do I put my luggage. :seeya [/QUOTE] Actually, I can put two double bowling bags and two small suitcases, in my back area and still put my top down. I was surprised myself at how much space there is. |
Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
i guess if its not my daily i would go vert. the roofs just look too stupid to me when up.

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
I never thought I'd have a convertible, or even wanted one. Now that I have one I love it! There's something very alluring about a warm summer night's cruise with the top down. I actually hate to drive it with the top up....well, maybe hate is too strong a word, but it's sure a lot more fun with the top gone. Besides, a coupe with the top off is much more windy and buffeting than a roadster with the top down. :yesnod:

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
I prefer the look of the coupes. I had a chance to buy a vertte but chose the coupe instead. Just my .02 :D

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
Vert, of course!!! And, I have ample room to carry a roll of Tums with me when I have the top down. Actually, though, I like the way the top looks when it's up, even tho mine stays down most of the time...

Who wants to drive around with a greenhouse following you?

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
HAS TO BE THE ROADSTER

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
The roadster is the only way to travel (on warn nights and pleasant mornings) and with the top up the A/C makes it great on rainy days and nights. Therefore, it is dual-purpose fun transportation. I speak from experience, as mine is a daily driver (commuter convertible) that makes the 40-minute drive each way the best part of the day.http://www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/smile.gifhttp://www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/smile.gifhttp://www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/smile.gifhttp://www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/smile.gifhttp://www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/smile.gif 5 smiles

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
Have had my 92 roadster for about 4 1/2 years now and it's THE way to go. Unfortunately the great Washington weather doesn't always cooperate for top-down driving :( but the hardtop I just bought solves that! And the hardtop gets me in to track days now and the car really stiffens up on the autocross course :D

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
If the tail of the new vettes weren't so ugly i'd be driving a new convertible. I like my 1995 just as it is.

Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
I thought a hard top was a convertable.
Now, if your asking coupe or vert, well this has been done too much. And the conclusion is always coupe! :D For the C4s that is. For the C2, it is very debatable. The split windows are pretty frikkin cool, but I must go with a vert. For the C3, it is again very debateble, but I think the C3 also looks and is better in a coupe. |
Re: Hardtop or Convertible (Bob88Convertible)
It is my Daily Driver and I would say what I always say, GO TOPLESS!
