I saw a show on tv that had all these hollywood film and tv cars in a museum. Can't remember where it was located at. I distinctly remember a MACH 5 in the background. It looked great and was WHITE... Don't know why it was in there though since the real mach 5 wasn't real :confused:

It is white. A local radio dj here in Dallas just bought one off of ebay for around $60k. Not sure what he was thinking. :cry

a few years ago, there was talk that they were going to make a live action film version of speed racer.

they had a firm make a body kit of the car for prototyping perposes.

this must be the result of such a desire.... the film died on the vine.

The one they had up on eBay was underpowered and had *gasp* drum brakes on the rear. No self-respecting Mach V fan would touch it with a 10-ft. pole.

I think a white C5 vert with red interior and chrome headrest bars would look mighty sweet with a big red-and-gold "5" on the doors...:D
