The Grond Chronicles : The Hammer goes South [Dialup, you know the script]

As you all may already know, I moved from the Frozen Tundra (Connecticut) to Vero Beach, Florida. I would like to give a MASSIVE thanks to Bill & Cheryl Curlee, Steve (Connecticut) and Chris (Cheezila). I owe them all an enormous weregild and will forever be in their debt. My heartfelt thanks to all of them. Bill & Cheryl, along with Connecticut pretty much packed my entire house, got everything in the truck, got rid of the garbage - and just made this whole migration south possible. We left CT at 18:30pm on Tuesday night and crossed into Florida at noon the following day. I drove Grond, Connecticut drove my beater and Cheezila drove the rental truck. We made good time and had no mishaps or problems. Road trip through 11 states :eek: CT, NY, NJ, DE, DC, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL Along the way, Connecticut videoed an awesome flyby in a Washington DC tunnel. Bullets sounded absolutely insane :D We stopped at CCW in Daytona Beach, FL on the way down and got a full VIP tour of the facility by the owner, John. I'll post those pics in another thread. I hope you enjoy your new home Stephen, we will miss you up here. Just to give you a reminder of why you left.....it's was in the low 30's to high 20's today. I stopped by ECS today to have Doug retune my Vette and it was damn right nasty outside. :ack: Just plan ole raw outside

I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen last Saturday and I have to say, one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I came prepared with a bag full of oranges for the new Floridian, he's going to need all the vitamin "C" he can get...got to build up the blood so the mosquitos don't suck you dry :rofl:
He got himself a fine house, good plot of land and hopefully hearing impaired neighbors :lol: Geeze that beast can ROAR!!!
