What sports car did you own before purchasing Vette?
 

The Corvette is the best car that I have ever owned; prior to that purchase, i have owned a 1990 Nissan 300zxtt 400hp and a 1991 ford mustang gt

supra. it was an "OK" car

1988 GTA Trans-am. Only a few of the body pieces are stock :D

A too-small, underpowered, but marvelously fun 1959 MGA roadster, 3 Triumph Spitfire Mk3's (I currently own a restored example that doesn't get much road time these days), a '69 Porsche 911T Targa, a Nissan 300ZX Turbo... Hmmm. I guess that was about it for "sports cars".

None of them were even close to approaching the power, performance and amenities of my C5, but next to the C5, the one I enjoyed driving the most was the old 911 :cheers: .

Volvo P1800E. Not a lot of power, but it was sure a sweet ride.

Oh yeah, and the Orange Vega!

'94 Camaro. Hard to give up a V8's torque, after you've had it.

Last "sports" car was some years ago. 1972 Datsun 240Z in Yellow. :willy:

2004 Dodge SRT-4. Awesome little car for what it was. I still miss it, but it can't compare to my 99 vert!

Began with a muscle car in 1969 - 1968 Road Runner with 440/6-pack. Transitioned to a Porsche 944 in 1990 and finally to the ultimate - C5 Vert in 2004! I have reached the pinacle.

Some may argue whether these were all "sports" cars, but...
