Sets nice. Many vettes look like they have the 4X4 off road option. Like the white too.

Exhaust: After many attempts at building an exhaust system capable of withstanding the heat range produced by the engine in the vehicle, a solution has been found. Many exhaust systems, including Borla and other high end brands, were tried only to, for the most part, be burnt up and/or destroyed as a result of high intensity heat

Thats kind of weird...When talking with the guy at Winberg about doing some LT5 stroker cranks, he told me he did a LT5 stroker crank for a guy in Canada??? Maybe thats the car???

That guy is in outer space when it comes to the description on that ride... Canadian Hot rodders hard at it..

11k RPM's, eh?:toetap:
I suppose it's possible, maybe that's whats burning up the exhausts?

Sadly, nothing other than ride height and the roll bar (great wrapping job as previously noted  ) gives away the fact that this car has had mega-bucks (Canadian) thrown at it.

Seems like there's a few too many lights on "On" the Digital Display?
I can't say exactly for sure, but I don't remember seeing all those on when I just put my '90 on "on" without starting the motor.
Especially the Service Engine Soon, Check Gauges and the Change Oil.
I don't for the life of me know what that one is to the right of the water temp gauge. Is it someting to do with the battery?

If all that cash was spent on this car why are the I/H's and water tubes not refinished?

Rkreigh 05-15-2006 07:04 PM

hey dwight,

do you know anyone in the area that can check the car out.

if the car is an LPE 394 (*which seems dubious*) it's a screamin deal.

keep in mind folks with similar mods the receipt on my car was 36k. granted this car and write up have some strange quirks but if it pulls 600 hp that's a cheap price.

unfortunately, when you get down to it things that seem to good to be true usually are.

back to the ethnic slurs and geopolitical insults, enough of this LT5/ZR-1 banter!!!

It is definitely not an LPE car - the only part of that write-up that mentions LPE is that they made the liners for him - other than that it sounds like a homemade project. I don't know anyone in BC, but I can guarantee you statement about "too good to be true" is 100% on the money. I would avoid this car like the plague!:willy:

If need be I have a tech that can probably check the car out. He is not familiar with the LT5 but he is a very good tech and a close personal friend of mine. Still too many "things" I see wrong with the car that deosen't make sense. How does somebody spend $7+ grand on a crank, more $$ for liners etc etc etc and use that cheap wrap on the frame? Also all this $$ in the motor but he doesen't powder coat it?:willy: I'd like to see a dyno sheet on this puppy. Just doesne't add up.

Yeah it seems as though the "canadian" hot rodders like to make the #s bigger...seems consistant with his 11,000 rpm comment.

Maybe there was a "middleman" crank broker involved in that one too? Awful far away to get bit by a corvette shop down south...maybe the real estate agent sold him some property in Canada, perhaps a "package deal"? OK OK maybe its just the freight to Canada, customs, or maybe they threw in a 4 cylinder tach for an exta $3k to go along with the crank...11,000 RPM!!!!!!!!!!
