My friend Rob worked the adjuster - his car/truck that he has since sold was a 500hp small block, M22 Rockcrusher, 12 bolted, lowered S 10 that was a mid 11 second car

The leveler/pitch adjustment made this a snap, even when almost on the motor mounts all the way, we adjusted it for the last time, eased right in

Nothing fancy, just a quickie clean up and paint

Even though it was midnight when we finished, Rob offered to pull the plugs to get ready for the header install, as I finished cleaning up the barn

looks good .
looks like a strong motor |
The motor is like 10.5 to 10.75 to 1, has fully, heavily port 186 casting number heads, screw in studs, guide plates, full ported and flowbenched Victor Junior and Crane Fireball II 302H with 302 duration480" lift. It was a 12 second motor in the Green Camaro and that car always needed a little more gear, it had 3:73's. The Corvette has 4:11's so I am sure it will go good and be dependable.
Glad you like the pics! |
nice!

thanks, just nice to see the car getting some attention, the car only has 53k on it but had a very tough life

Went to go buy sidepipes off a guy, didnt buy them but did buy this L 88 scooped hood, needs some work, but not bad, not an original GM piece, but will work fine

Dropped back out, so I could put header gaskets in after test fit

Trimmed one of the tabs that stick down below the door, I think for rocker panel moulding, seemed to get in the way of the sidepipe tab when going in.
One inch header bolts, stainless allen bolts sitting in place. http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._5318308_n.jpg |
